Welcome Fall
I know this post is probably premature, and I'm sure next week it will be like 100 degrees again. But for now, I am LOVING this beautiful weather. This is the kind of day, when it's crisp and cool in the morning and sunny in the afternoon, and you can just feel the season changing, that makes me thank God I'm alive! I'm so excited and ready for this Fall... Football games, pumpkin spice lattes, and patio weather. I'm thinking it's time to schedule a pumpkin carving party... whose in??

WEDDING PICTURES!!!!!
Yay... our wedding pictures are ready. Can I just say, our photographer, Lindsay Perry, was PHENOMENAL. Nate and I had such a fun time with her and her sister taking pictures. They totally made the wedding fun and relaxing, and we're so thankful for them.

San Antonio
This year I'm going to be going on about 16 recruiting trips for Hockaday, and to spice things up a little I decided that I would do something unique in each city I visit and write about it on our blog. Yesterday I went to San Antonio, and I visited Lulu's Bakery and Cafe that was on Man vs. Food: http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Man_V_Food/Episode_San_Antonio
I bought their famous 3-lb cinnamon roll, and its bigger than the plastic plate it's sitting on! I don't know if you can tell how big it truly is by the pictures, but it's sitting on a regular size coffee table. Not only is it huge but its also delicious. I snacked on it all yesterday.
After my work meeting last night, I had another sweet treat. I got to hang out with Faith, meet her boyfriend, Blake and see her adorable new house! She is so sweet, and it always blesses me to get to spend time with her. Can't wait to celebrate her and Genna's birthdays this weekend.
Happy Hump Day everyone!

Honeymoon Pics!
Nate and I spent a week at the El Dorado Royale on the Riviera Maya in Mexico for our Honeymoon, and it was FABULOUS! The resort had wonderful food and drinks (all the time), great room service, super nice people, and beautiful beaches. We met another honeymooning couple, Matt and Kelly, from Washington, and had a blast hanging out with them a few times during the week. We didn't spend too much time and energy on pictures (we had to save it all for laying on the beach, haha), but here are a few:
Swim up pool on our balcony, yes please! |
Nate and Matt LOVED the duck |
Every night the resort had entertainment for us. Our last night was "Reggae Night" and during the break we went on stage with three other couples to play a game... I won't explain the game,
but we won a bottle of Tequila!
Our winnings! |

My First Blog Post Ever!
Hello Friends! Well, this is the first blog post that I've ever written, and it's kind of exciting. I've been wanting to start a blog for a while, and I thought this would be the perfect time, mainly because I liked the name, "Kotschi Korner". This blog is dedicated simply to random thoughts, ideas, and life adventures. Nate and I had the most amazing wedding and honeymoon (pictures to follow soon), and now we're back in the Big D trying to settle back into reality. We were really excited to get back and live life in our new house with a married routine, but now that we're back and in the full swing of things, those beachfront cabanas in Mexico are sounding pretty sweet!
I have a feeling I'll be blogging quite a big in the Fall while I'm on the road traveling along. For now, here's to being newly married and getting settled...
